Hello I’m Ella

I'm Ella Louise Foreman, the face behind ELF Care. I am from Worthing but now living in Hove, I'm a neonatal nurse by background, with over eight years of experience working on a neonatal unit, specialising in infant feeding, breastfeeding and supporting premature babies.

For the last three years, I've expanded my experience as a Neonatal Outreach Nurse, supporting families as they transition home from hospital with their babies. This involves everything from creating individualised feeding plans and monitoring weight gain to helping families navigate those first few weeks at home and feel more confident caring for their little ones.

Alongside my nursing career, I've also worked as a nanny, live-in maternity nurse and package-of-care nurse. These experiences have given me a real understanding of the different challenges families can face, both in hospital and at home.

I've also completed my training as an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), allowing me to offer specialist, evidence-informed support with breastfeeding and infant feeding.

Why I started ELF Care

Over the years, I've noticed that many families feel underprepared and unsupported as they navigate the transition into parenthood. There is so much to learn, so many decisions to make and, at times, so much conflicting advice. It can all feel incredibly overwhelming, especially when feeding doesn't go quite as planned.

I wanted to create ELF Care to help bridge that gap by offering families the kind of personalised, caring support that can make such a difference during those early days and weeks.

Whether you're looking for some newborn guidance, reassurance with feeding, help with breastfeeding or pumping, support with bottle or combination feeding, or more specialist guidance for your premature or NICU baby, I'm here to help.

My approach

I believe every family is different, and there is no one-size-fits-all approach to newborn care or infant feeding. My aim is to provide a safe, supportive and non-judgemental space where you can ask questions, talk through your concerns and find an approach that works for you and your baby.

I'm here to listen, offer practical advice and help you feel more confident in your decisions, without pressure or judgement. And if something needs further assessment or support from another professional, I'll help guide you in the right direction.

I truly believe that it takes a village to raise a baby, and that no parent should feel they have to navigate those early days alone.

Sometimes, having someone to listen, offer reassurance or help you work through feeding concerns can make all the difference. That's what I want ELF Care to be: a little part of your village, offering you and your baby the care, guidance and support you deserve.

Because while every family's journey is different, you don't have to do it all alone. 🤍
